Maybe not the top of the table clash, but an important game for both Vilpas and LemKem on Monday night at the 7pm tip-off in COLD!!! Salohalli.
Third quarter decider
Games last for 40 minutes, but sometimes short spells can be decisive. On Monday, the 3rd quarter went 24-9 to Team LemKem – and that really was the difference.
Vilpas made a great start after the half-time and took the lead for a moment, but then it was the visitors who took the rest of the quarter and also the game.

For Vilpas : Katariina Hilska an Miisa Aaltonen scored in double digits – with 15 and 14 points. Hilla Mäkynen – who has to be in the running for the ‘Young Player of the Season’ award (if such were handed out in D1!!) – had a more quiet game, by her standards, with 8 points and 7 rebounds.
For Team LemKem : Pinja Leppänen 14, Disa Jokinen and Sandra Keskevaari 13 points and Oona Pasanen 10 points – reaching double digits.
It was nice to see Maria Jokinen on the court again – 5 points – 5 rebounds and 6 assists for her – as she is back playing again 🙂
