Vilpas ready for final stretch of the Korisliiga

Visited Vilpas in their training on the week before the upper and lower sections of the Korisliiga continue on Thursday – with Vilpas hosting BC Nokia in the opening game (unfortunately Thursday is still a no-car day for me – as we wait for the new camper to be finished.. so no journey to Salo for me!)

Looking at the practice session in Salohalli – it definitely looks like this is a team that is ready to challenge for the top of the table places come the end of the season.

All season long it has been a bit of a talk whether this Vilpas team has got what it takes .. but with a solid coaching team and veteran players in their roster .. it starts to look like the pieces are falling into places and come the playoffs (to which Vilpas secured their spot already!) – this is a team you would NOT want to face in the opening round.
