Final 4 bound – weekend in Hell(sinki)

Another Final 4 weekend, and once again in Hell(sinki) for few nights – as you can see from the way it is typed over there it is not necessarily my favourite place to go to 😉 If it were up to me, the Final 4 weekend would be somewhere much more scenic and relaxing…

But – I just think of these from my own point of view.. the people who actually make the decisions – probably have a better idea where these should be held. Sort of like my idea of 3×3 tournament… one should definitely be somewhere in Lapland and be a FIBA 3×3 World Tour competition … the FIBA 3×3 Midnight Sun tournament. Don’t tell me you wouldn’t be excited about 3×3 tournament played at midnight under the never setting sun..

See – my ideas wonder easily from thing to next…

Now – heading for three night in Helsinki and starting with a nice ‘early’ evening with two games – one tipping off at 18.15.. and the other 20.45 (which is way past the bedtime of most basketball players and media). So let’s see how awake I am at 22.55 when the third O.T is starting between Seagulls and Korihait tonight… then enjoying a peaceful walk to the hotel through the Friday nightlife of Helsinki.. yay!

Should be a fun event to shoot though – eight teams, six games.. could be worse. Also hoping that some fans will find their way to the games – so don’t have to shoot the games against empty seats…

IF I can manage to stay awake and get a moment or two… there might be some BTS clips and some photos from the event over the coming three days here in the Blog/website.

Now – back to packing the gear for the weekend!
