Susijengi’s Quest: From Olympic Qualification to U17 World Cup – A Photographer’s Perspective

I wonder if this is the biggest three weeks of Finnish basketball for me .. EVER!

Last night arrived to Valencia, Spain to cover the Olympic Qualification Tournament where Susijengi will attempt to grab a spot in this summers Olympics (big ask – but this is a special team being built!).

Then it is straight to two weeks of Women U17 World Cup in Mexico – the third time ever Finland have reached a World Cup in any age group (also my third World Cup as a photographer for Finland).

And naturally the three weeks might extend if Finland get to the Olympics… as then it might be the biggest FIVE weeks ever.

But – just lucky and honored to be able to do this for living and getting to capture these special events.

And maybe – just maybe I might have a bit more time to keep the Blog running as well??
