Weekend All Stars U17 + MVP vote !!
The All Stars is from games I’ve been to over the weekend – or from the U17 (MU17 and WU17 semi-finals). So really the semi’s plus then Ura Basket vs LePy from the WU17 D1.
I count the points in a certain method – so it is impartial and fair. You score, you assist, you rebound, you steal, you have turnovers, fouls.. every stat you do on the court counts.
You may disagree with these, but… the STATS DON’T LIE! 😉

WU17 – All Star starting 5 – weekend 21-22.3.202
- Kenisha Omoriotiomwan (EBT) for her performance on Saturday in the opening win over PuHu in Martinlaakso
- Merit Kallis (EBT) same as Kenisha, Merit gets the nod into the team from her Saturday’s stats/performance.
- Ese Peter (HNMKY) two solid games for Ese, but the first one takes the shine here, as Saturday games rule the All Stars selections.
- Vanessa Weckström (HNMKY big points, big plays and a big game from Vanessa, helping HNMKY to take the ‘upset’ of the first round of playoffs.
- Vilma Sallasmaa (Ura Basket) the HUGE game from Vilma, her performance against LePy was a real standout, despite her team losing, the line of stats is so impressive that she can not be over looked.
MU17 – All Star starting 5 – weekend 21-22.3.2026
- Paavo Kemppinen (HNMKY) Helping with a big time game on Saturday in front of home fans to upset the #1 seeds at MU17. Kemppinen was a key cog in the wheel as HNMKY took a surprise win after OT.
- Aati Ylivakeri (BC Nokia) – In an overtime loss, Aati put in a positive performance in the stats, and so deserves a place in the team of the week.
- Renne Ikälälainen (KoLa) – performance of the weekend on Saturday as KoLa Basket ran riot over Ura Basket in Kouvola, his stats and performance earn him a shoe-in place in the team of the week.
- Daniel Dragstma (Ura Basket) – Sunday, Dragstma shone in an even Ura Basket team, as they turned the game in the third quarter and forced a game #3 in the series.
- Tuukka Selin (BC Nokia) – Big Double-Double game for Selin on Sunday to help BC Nokia force a deciding game #3 on Monday.
