Capturing the Korisliiga – Finals Game 7

Guess this is a post which is best left to the photos to tell the story, but can’t help but add few words to start with 🙂

Photos of the game are always a must to capture, but when the Championship is on the line – it is the photos that come from the deciding moment and afterwards.

From the thousands of photos from the game and celebs post game – here are few of my favourites and they don’t only show the joy of winning.

From the top row (left to right) :

• The Championship clinching free throw with two seconds to go – I actually like it from this angle as it gave me the scoreboard, players, fans, shot clock…
• The Moment of winning – with the celebrations of BC Nokia and dejection of Helsinki Seagulls, the image tells a story better than any words.
• (images 3 and 4) – One of the heroes through out the season for Helsinki Seagulls – after the game the feeling of loss… both on his own and being consoled by more senior players.
• The Winners – the last four images show various images of the winning team and their celebrations on court and in the locker room.

So these images were the ones to end the Korisliiga season 2023-24 – with BC Nokia winning their first title!!

Now my cameras are already capturing the National teams during their summer season – with training camps in full swing in Finland … stories and photos to come over the summer from those.
