Korisliiga Social Media following – update

Something I keep returning to – it seems.. is the followers of Korisliiga teams on Social Media, and how the numbers grow/change. Last update was from July last year… then there had been a three year gap.. now I kept it a bit less. And as it is mid-season, interesting to see if teams have managed to grow their following on various channels.

So – here are the numbers for all 12 teams, and how they’ve changed.

For most teams, it seems Twitter following has been pretty much the same, no changes to speak or there. Maybe little bit of gains for Korisliiga, KarhuBasket and Pyrintö.. but other than that.. whether it is just that there aren’t many new users on Twitter who are interested, or what.. not for me to say.

As for Instagram, some gains there – Tapiolan Honka (after getting promoted, you would expect this), Seagulls, KarhuBasket.. those are the biggest movers here.

Little bit surprised that the numbers aren’t really going up by more than this – as there are teams who do interesting content, but it doesn’t seem to affect the numbers in a big way.

Of course a more detailed view of how many impressions/likes/comments posts get.. would be more interesting, but also would consume way more time.
