Baltic Sea Cup 2025 – Finland gets ready

The Finnish U16 and U18 National Teams have been preparing for few days now for this years first International tournament, and for some players their FIRST ever games in the National Team jersey ( as I understand it – you only get official games from the U16 age group onwards).

And with these being the first games in the new year – and new U16 team, there are some players making their debuts tomorrow for their home country.

For me it is always important to try to be there for these FIRST games, I know I don’t always make it, as the budgets of my clients are limited and I don’t work for free 😉

Couple of time in the last week – I have visited the teams at their training camps in Finland and now tonight in Estonia, this is also always a great way to get to know the players. And it makes it a LOT easier to make interviews with the players after they have seen you few times at the practice or games.

If you came here to read a lot about how this and that player is a rising star in the Finnish rosters, or how the team plays their ‘Espanjan palloskriini’ … you will be disappointed.

I really have no idea – all I know is that there are 12 players in each of the teams – some players I know already – others I am seeing for the first time.

The coming three days over here in Tallinn, will give me the first 12 games of Finnish International teams for the 2025 .. and a total of 24 international games for my total (all going well going to reach 1500 International basketball games covered during this year!!)

But hey – you all came here to see some photos or videos – so hopefully you enjoyed clicking on the video or some of the photos – and if you did, feel free to pop by over the weekend for my content!
