Unlike in the Women’s vote, over here – I only managed to add TWO Finnish players to the vote, with the imports taking a big chunk of the game in the men’s side.

The two Finns – Alvar Peltoniemi of Tapiolan Honka and Teuvan Kokko of Bisons Loimaa. Peltoniemi JUST edged the spot for Honka in the vote over couple of strong American players, Kokko – he sort of gets to the vote via the backdoor, even if his team will not make the playoffs. But the strong season from the Bisons guard does get him a spot on the list.

Jared Billups has been one of the key players for Pyrintö, as they make the playoffs via the lower bracket of the season – De’vion Harman of Kataja likewise – from the lower bracket, but Harmon and Kataja definitely will not be an easy opponent for whoever they face in the first round.

Jalen Brooks of Vilpas, player that I’ve seen a lot – and key cog in Vilpas roster as they look to push on from the win of the regular season.

Frank Champion of Korihait – like his team, his own game has had swings and roundabouts – but all in all, one of the top performers in the league this season. And often you have seen his name in the title when Korihait wins.

Ike Nweke – Karhu Basket, as is often the case, the imports are finding their feet as the season goes on. So it has been with Nweke – a total force under the rim.

Rene Rougeau – Helsinki Seagulls, a name I personally am surprised to see here. Quiet and un-assuming season from the league veteran, but the stats do not lie. Small niggle before the playoffs – but one expects nothing less than a stellar playoff performance from Rene as the BIG games begin.

So – who did you choose???
