Norway give Sweden a close game, for 20 minutes
Bright spark of the afternoon
In advance one wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this game – but the first half did deliver (so far!) the most entertaining half of the day… well, it was only the THIRD half in all games combined.
Norway seemed to have had a good rest day, and came into the game full of energy and really pressed the Swedes into mistakes and at the end of the quarter they were up by few points.
Second half turned the game to the host nation with Hedda Håkansson showing the ball the way to through the net, as well as Leila Bajagilovic finding the range from beyond the arc.
For Norway – usual ‘suspects’ – Sanford and Nyland Rotherud well into double-digits on the scoring.
Good appetiser ahead of the main event of the day – Iceland vs Finland!

With the freedom to shoot exactly what I like – the close-up / detail photos really feel like the way to go today. So .. for those who like them, it’s a thumbs up for today’s posts .. but I know these won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.
