Break Out Young Player of 2025-26
Let’s look at the young talent in the Women’s Korisliiga – here are my SIX options for you all to vote on, as the ‘Break Out Young Player of the Season 2025-26’
Who gets your vote, and like with the MVP vote, this will go on until the start of the Final series, with the winner getting a prize of some sort at the end of the season.
The line-up, in my view, for this is strong. As is to be expected with the level of young talent in the league this season.
EBT have two representatives – Nea Inhala and Emili Melnikova, both having had to step into big shoes as Erika Mace has been injured. BC Nokia join the race with Eevi Seppä, who has taken leaps forward during the season.
Mona Pasanen has been the back court motor for HBA during the season, and taking a big role there, Sini Luukkonen of ToPo – despite the teams tough season, she has been one standout player for the Helsinki based team. Ida Riihijärvi – of Tapiolan Honka, another story of player growing into her role, scoring in double digits, and adding assists and boards to her game, as well as a blocking threat.
Tough choice to make, thus I leave it to you – the readers to choose the Break Out Young Player of the season.
