Playoff ‘anthem’ 2025-26 – Lose Yourself
From an idea, to completion
I got the idea (ALWAYS!! give credit to where you get your inspiration from!!) from a YouTube video called ‘Lose Yourself (from 331 movies)’.
Last week on Sunday I was driving back home from Norway and got an idea – how about make that video, but have basketball players say the lyrics!
On Tuesday morning I was shooting the first video clips, and kept on adding more and more during the week, and got the last clips (from KarhuBasket) on Sunday evening at 21.35.
Monday morning was spent finishing the video, trying to make it look/sound good – and now, at 16.00 on Monday.. it is getting ready to be published.
Stats
A total of about 75 players are saying the lyrics, each player/coach says between one and eight phrases/words. So that makes it about 420 different clips that I have edited into the video.
This will be an idea that I WILL come back to one day, with more time.
Although – I did make one few years ago with Susijengi and Käärijä’s Cha-Cha-Cha.. unfortunately that got pulled by sensorship in the last moment 😉 It really was a great clip!
