HBA vs ViVe – 09-01-2026
ViVe go Top of the table!
Mid-January, and ViVe are leading the Women’s Korisliiga!!
Win over the Helsinki Basketball Academy last week saw ViVe claim the top spot in the League (PeKa have played two games less and have a chance to overtake still).
With a 12-3 record, and league high 1248 points scored, Vimpeli share the top of the league with Pyrintö from Tampere. The league is looking interesting with the Top 4 teams being pretty even on any given day (ViVe, Pyrintö, PeKa and EBT).
Puckett gets BUCKETS!
In the win over HBA, ViVe #4 Sara Puckett scored 45!!! points, She is averaging 27,3 points per game and is 8 points per game better than the next player on the list (Lauren Heard of PeKa at 19.7 ppm)
With teams having between 9 and 11 games to go in the regular season the Top 4 is starting to claim the home court advantage for the first round of playoffs. But in which order?? That remains to be seen, but I think we might be in for one of the most interesting playoffs in years!!
