Best and Worst Jerseys in Korisliiga
Who am I to rank the jerseys?
Just like with my earlier ranking of the venues, these are just my own opinions on how I would like jerseys to look like. I do understand that the teams will need to sell multiple sponsor placements in their jerseys, and most, if not all would prefer to just have one big sponsor on the jersey – but that is not reality in the league.
And as you will find out – not even the fact you only have one sponsor is a sure fire way to get you to the top spots!
Best of the rest
Before we go to the Top 3 jersey of the season, lets look and talk about some of the best of the rest bunch.
KTP : Nice clear Kotka text, small KTP logo in the ‘logo spot’, otherwise the jersey is quite busy to the eye and even if the stripes do create a nice feel. The whole kit just feels a little to hectic to get to the top places.

Helsinki Seagulls : Come on man!! What are you on here?? You’ve asked for clear logo/name, one main sponsor… why can’t you just get Seagulls to the Top3?? You are right there, word GULLS cleanly in the front, the colors are great, there is one main sponsor – but for me, I look at the jersey and ask myself, is the team called ‘ Gulls Ukko.fi ‘ ?? I know – this is probably just me – but hey what works for one, doesn’t for another. Still – one of the cleanest jerseys in the league!

Kouvot : Really love the fact that there is a big logo of a bear there, something very different in Korisliiga to have this type of front of the jersey. Unfortunately the jersey otherwise is a bit ‘messy’ to the eyes of the photographer. So in summary – big logo a huge plus – otherwise, not quite there
Other teams in this category are : Bisons, BC Nokia, ToPo
Top 3
- Peli-Karhut (EuroCup Women kit) : Just everything about this kit works, the colors are great for the home kit, the Finnish flag, the old school logo, team name in good looking font, number and then the only/main sponsor ‘ Miä ❤️ Kotka ‘ This just was the jersey of the season for so many reasons in 2024-25. Not hindered by the historic venture of a Finnish team into EuroCup Women group stages. Great shirt to go with it – just wished I could have gotten my hands on one these from the team – would be signed and framed on my wall.

2. EBT : Best of the Korisliiga domestic jerseys, the black jersey is just ace, and the away kit in white is super as well. The kit is tidy – word Espoo in the front – not littered with adds, the font design is probably even better than the PeKa shirt. What does the lack of sponsors in the shirt say – we’re not going into that here – just giving praise to the best looking shirt in the domestic games this season! Big props to the designers of this one as well as the look of ‘All City’ which has been the theme for EBT this season.

3. Kataja Basket : Another clean design – seeing a trend here with what has worked for the Susipaparazzi this season 😉 Not a fan of the different main sponsors in the front – but somehow the colour scheme and the bold font with which KATAJA is printed – the logos of the sponsors don’t jump out as much as on some other teams. For me – the white shirt works better – the blue one is OK, but not as nice.

Honourable Top 3 mention – HBA : why just honourable, for the fact we have an Academy team here so there are no adds on their kits, so unfair to compare this to the other kits. But the HBA home (dark) kit is a snazzy one, looks really smart and good. Always feel happy when editing HBA photos/videos from the season – but that’s what you get when you don’t need to sell sponsor logos into your kit..

Down and out
Like with the Best of the Rest – not going to rank these as ‘worst or second worst’ kit of the season. There is a bunch of shirts that for me drop to this category for the simple reason – TOO MANY ADDS!! (and yes – for the reasons stated at the top – I understand why they are there, but they just don’t make a good looking jersey, sorry!)
KarhuBasket : As a kit – nice, the orange is very much synonymous with Kauhajoki basketball, but to figure out that it is KarhuBasket .. just the big sponsor logo in the front shouts something else for me. Sorry KarhuBasket – not hating you, just can’t get you higher on this list.

Vilpas / Korihait : Seem to have these in the same photo, so I pack these into the same column. These shirts are in the category I call ’tilkkutäkki’ shirts – lots and lots of sponsor logos, for Vilpas they go with Vilpas in the front, Korihait go with Uusikaupunki. Once again, these kits aren’t looking ugly – but just the clean lines of our Top 3 kits are on another level – don’t hate me for it and hope I am welcome to your next home games!

ViVe : Really big on the tilkkutäkki here, in some ways very similar to the ViVe pesäpallo kit as well, lots of small sponsors here, even if the blue&white colour scheme does work nicely – but sometimes when I look at this shirt I need to take a moment and count backwards from ten to one to calm myself (which might say more about me than the kit!). But hey Vimpeli – you are still one of my favourite places to visit in Naisten Korisliiga – so hopefully I get a nice warm welcome when I pop there next season!

Few others I have put in this category are : Pyrintö, Kouvottaret, Forssan Alku, Tapiolan Honka
