Locations with character – love them!
One thing about always shooting at the location the teams choose, is that you never quite know where you will end up!
It can be a big sports arena, it can be a local school gym, it can be an office where you need to move tables and computers, it can be a back of a shopping center storage corridor .. you name it, I’ve probably had a team photoshoot in that sort of location.
For me, some of the nicest places are in the smaller towns/villages – where there could be a small gym, auditorium or just a community space that the team has booked.
Last weekend in Simo, there was just that kind of place!
I had already looked it up a bit on Google before arriving there, but just to see the building in the late winter sunshine, and then to walk in there.. lovely warm space with character – for once it didn’t even feel like a chore to move all the tables and chairs to get the space cleared.
So – thank you to Simon Kiri for organising such a lovely space for the Ykköspesis photoshoot on Sunday! Really was the perfect kind of place to have it – and nice photoshoot to top it all up!
It was lovely to visit Toivon Tupa in Simo … now the road onwards continues!
