This weeks home away from home

First full week of Korisliiga promo-tour2022 sort of done, and a rarity .. four nights spent in the same place (I will get to making a post of ‘Places I’ve spent more time than at home’…). Living long times on the road, sometimes – you just want to stay in the same place. This week, with the location of the photoshoots and stuff, it just worked nicely to stay at the BestPark at Akaa Harbour.

Often I just end up sleeping in a national park, but this time.. the luxury of being able to have a full shower and sauna.. it just made me happy enough to spend few euros a night to stay here. Plus it really was always on the way to/from a photoshoot, so was a no-brainer location wise.

Also – with cold nights setting in, it is nice to be plugged into electricity and be able to put the underfloor heating on in the camper… the little luxuries 😉 And mornings were always nice and quiet, few nature walks along the lake.. nice one!

Probably in the summer this place is not as peaceful as it is in late September.. but this worked very nicely for me this week.. now it is time to depart from here.. and who knows when I will be able to spend two nights in the same place next!! The pace is picking up speed and distances between photoshoots are getting longer!

So… last morning here.. next stop… well, actually haven’t thought of where to sleep tonight…
