Planning travels – at least half the fun

So, the 12 days of basketball is closing in and the booking of accommodation, transport, sorting of accreditations.. it’s all stepping up a gear.

Been a while since I’ve tried anything THIS ambitious, in regards to the amount of games, travels and schedules. Which has meant that trying to check that, OK – the game there starts at 14.00, and I am in this place the day before… are the flights, trains, boats that get me from here to there on time?? And where am I the day after?? Should I consider a rental car and drive over night??

How about the accomodation (as this journey is NOT done in the camper!) close to the arena? Or should I get city center accommodation, or wait – isn’t my flight at 6am?? Definitely an airport hotel..

Will definitely be interesting to see how this all works out – there are some VERY tight schedules to get from A to B via C..

Hopefully you all will find it as interesting to follow my journey – as I probably will have on the road.

Guess the players can start to wonder.. hmmm.. don’t we have an away or home game that day?? Is he maybe coming here??
