Korisliiga – Team of the week 02

Another week comes to an end, and thus another Team of the Week listing to come.

And yes, there are some familiar names in the list, which I guess at this point of the season is not that surprising.

Starting from the big man spot :

CENTER : Veteran of the Korisliiga, and many other leagues – but his feet are still moving as lightly as ever and where as his movement might have slowed somewhat – the basketball IQ is still one of the best in the league and with that the BIG guy spot this week goes to JEREMIAH WOOD of BIISONIT. Big game and one of the best scores of the week in the listings – and with his help Bisons had a great week!

FORWARDS : Another returning player gets his second spot in the Team of the Week, as the experience once again counts for much as RENE ROUGEAU of HELSINKI SEAGULLS once again heads into the weeks listing, some players just right from the first whistle of the season and experienced ROUGEAU certainly is one of those players. RENE is joined on the FORWARDS positions with a new comer, who didn’t miss the place last week by much – but makes an appearance this week KALEB WARNER or KORIHAIT gets his first nod to the listings.

GUARDS : No surprise to see the name of JAMES BISHOP IV of KOUVOT on the list ONCE again, player who has taken to Korisliiga like a duck takes to water… looks like he has been playing in this league for more than just two competitive games, the other GUARD spot this week goes to HELSINKI SEAGULLS player TEVIN OLISON, with him and ROUGEAU on FORWARD spot, the Helsinki team has a formidable duo who definitely can strike fear into most defences in Korisliiga.
