On the road – Day 5
Day 5 of ?? – todays travel – Helsinki to Tallinn, Estonia!

Aah, what a joy it was to travel again, or wait.. it’s travel most days, but still this time it was a short hop to Estonia with the team.
Morning went fast with editing photos at the team hotel until about 11am, then quick run to the camera store in Helsinki, as my monopod lost a screw (no silly jokes now please 😉 ). And as they didn’t have a replacement part, had to buy a new monopod.
So if anyone is looking for a SLIK monopod in about 3 weeks time, hit me up!
And before you knew it, it was time to head to the airport – this time went with my own car, oh the joys of having your own transport 😉 Car parked and waiting for Sunday at the airport… baggage drop a breeze at the airport.. then security check and WOW!!
Talk about flying on Friday afternoon, took about 45minutes to get from the end of the queue to the check – as some of us are NOT Finnair Silver members (looking at some staff and players here!!). But – everyone made the flight, apart from few member who took an earlier boat with lot of the gear.

What about the flight itself?? Now – it took about 40minutes to drive from the hotel to the airport, 45 minutes from baggage drop to security, 20 minutes from security to walk to the gate.. then taxing on the runway for 5-10minutes.. and flight time maybe 15-25minutes. Definitely the shortest ever flight I’ve taken in my life!

Short bus ride to the hotel, look for restaurants near by, and I still (despite the Ramen debacle) look for Asian food.. and this time Chinese at a place called Han’s. And this time.. the twice fried pork was a success!! Not too busy at 6pm on Friday… but still took a take-away to eat in my room.
After that.. more editing and planning for EuroBasket.. few more hotel nights before.. more hotel nights in Prague.

So far not suffering from ‘hotel death’ – but when you stay one/two nights at each place.. you don’t really even get to unpack.
The journey continues!!
Have a safe trip!
