SusiSummer about kick in gear!

It’s quiet before the storm, as they say.

Last few weeks has been quiet time on the senior national teams calendar, as both the Men and Women prepare for a busy few weeks to give Finnish basketball fans plenty to cheer about.

Susiladies tip the summer off at URHEA halli in less than two weeks.

Four home games for the Susiladies, and same amount of home games for Susijengi – with the Men also playing few games abroad and attending EuroBasket2022 in September.. and FIBA WC qualifying games in late August..

So it has been good time for the Susipaparazzi to rest his trigger fingers and content creating..

Susijengi hope to replicate these scenes later in the summer in Tampere, Jyväskylä and of course Prague.

But Finnish basketball fans really are being treated to a great July/August with so many games, and also what makes me happy – is that many of the games are also outside the of the Helsinki/Espoo ‘bubble’. Not that there is anything wrong with sold out Metro Areena or URHEA.. but I think it nice to play elsewhere and experience new arenas and venues..

In just few weeks.. it all tips-off with Susiladies staring the games.. and as for me, hopefully batteries (both on camera and myself) are fully charged and ready to capture the games/training and behind the scenes ..

Hold on to your hats.. it’s gonna be wild!
