Evening thrills as games go the distance!
Thursday night the teams decided that as Friday is rest day – let’s go the whole distance and then some…
First WU16 Finland vs Sweden – Finland led the game for about 50 seconds – but what matters for them was that they were a single point ahead when the buzzer rang.
MU16 Finland vs Sweden was even closer, it took TWO over-times to decide the winner, with this time Sweden holding on to a one point win, with Finland having a last gasp chance to win the game.
MU16 Estonia vs Iceland, Estonia came from like 20 points down to take the game to over-time, by the end of the game both sets of players just collapsed on the court.. having given it their all (REST DAY NEEDED!!).
