Back on the baseline – at Umana Reyer Venice

Road trip has been long – and not enough games to shoot, seems all of European basketball was sleeping last week for me.

Saturday I got the second game of the week, with Reyer playing in Venice – so shooting Awak Kuier for the Finnish Basketball Federation ..

Just like the game last week in Södertälje – I have thousand photos of Awak (some REALLY good ones as well!!) – but … I won’t be posting them here.. WHY you ask??)

Let’s just say that as a photographer when a client pays you to attend a game .. they might not be best please if you post the best photos on your own social media channels before they get to post them ..

In the end – this is my job so sometimes… just sometimes one needs to consider things like this. But honestly – do keep an eye on the socials of Susiladies/BasketballFinland … some of the pics (in my opinion are just FIRE!!).

But to give some colour to the post – few images of the game when Awak was not on the court – as a photographer it just is impossible to NOT shoot the game even if it is not the game/player you are shooting in front of the lens…

Guess that is what they call – For the Love of the Game !
