What the X Korisliiga – Part 3

With a windy and rainy autumn day outdoors, what better way to spend it than looking through what has been posted under the #korisliiga or #naistenkorisliiga, or even #koris over the last week.

Korisliiga stats have been a big talking point over the last week, with fans, journalists and so on saying how the transfer from one platform to another has not gone quite as hoped/expected – one example from MTV reporter Kasperi Kunnas and his attempts in finding stats for Andre Gustavson and having some issues with them

Another new arena/hall was introduced to Korisliiga and Naisten Korisliiga as BC Nokia opened their season at their new home, facilities slowly improving around the league!

Finnish language podcast Keskelle Keksintöä is back for another season with Coach Palotie being joined by Anni Jämsä for the current season of all things Korisliiga.

Tapiolan Honka have started the season with two W’s and Riku Korhonen got the mention after his teams game vs Kouvot on X – with Pena Kauhanen saying that Riku Korhonen might be a marked man after his huge performance vs Kouvot.

Korisliiga official X account raised Peli-Karhut opening game in EuroCup Women as one of their news items on Wednesday.

Some fans not happy that Naisten Korisliiga gets broadcast with the automated cameras, and not with multiple cameras like the men’s games. And yes – the automated cameras are a bit 2000’s in this time and space..

And another podcast post, this time a FULL preview of all Naisten Korisliiga teams – a great listen (once again in Finnish) and great to see the women’s game featured so nicely!

Guess that’s all – well, all I felt like picking up from the Tweets/X’s of the last week or so.
