Little help from my friends, and preseason scare

About two weeks to go until the last part of International summer begins – meaning the run-in to FIBA World Cup in Japan (well, for me and Susijengi the first stop!)

So – for many reasons, it is time to dig through some archives from the qualifying games of the past two years, and it’s always fun to dig and see what your phone/hard drive has stored.

In my case, my iPhone had nearly 16.000 photos and 3000 videos… now safely transferred to the computer. Is that a lot of material – or do you guys have even more??

It was also fun to see that I do seem to trust players with cameras quite often – and just by handing a camera to a player, who might have been injured for that training or just finished early.. you get an extra social media post for your client.. I mean – what better than ‘Sasu Salin took the camera at Susijengi training – see the results!’

Something that you will definitely be seeing a lot more this coming month – either on my own social media, or on my clients social media.

The pre-season scare – that was for me, few days at home so time to TRY!!! (I do emphasise on the word TRY – as I am not very productive when at home) to do some DIY around the house. And today was trying to attach the netting to our vegetable garden a bit better – and preparing the pieces of wood with the screws inside. But had my gardening gloves on – so the screw-bit of the drill caught the glove… and it in turn started to twist my finger around the drill bit… so FAIR bit of screaming and swearing… and good hour with an ice bag.. plus extra dose of Ibuprofen.. Still a quite throbbing finger in my right hand…nothing broken, I think, as I can still bend the finger… even if it is quite painful.

But – let’s say that I am taking this one for the team – so all the players will hopefully stay healthy for the World Cup!

Before the World Cup prep – still lots of U18 stuff and Universiad teams photoshoots… fun times ahead (maybe with a throbbing/sore finger…)
