MU19 – Tapiolan Honka II vs LoKoKo

Now how is this for a mouthful, this game was played at : Boys Under-19 National First Division, 1 Division Central League.

I kept one eye on this game, while my main focus was on the U19 Honka-EBT game. But as the courts at HonkaHalli are so easy to switch. took few photos of this as well.

Game was pretty close, with Honka edging the first two quarters by 6 points and 3 points respectively. The second half was basket-for-basket action and scores 19-19 and 15-15.

From the stats, the few areas where you can see the difference being made, FAST BREAK POINTS 22-2 for Tapiolan Honka, and POINTS FROM TURNOVERS 37-11 for Tapiolan Honka.

Considering those, Loimaa did really well to keep the gap at only 8 points – with the final result Tapiolan Honka 73-65 Loimaan Korikonkarit.

Really didn’t follow the game enough to get an idea of the players, but that’s why we have Box Score 🙂

For Honka : #23 Robin Niemenpalo with the only double-double of the game. 23 points and 10 rebounds. #11 Willem Ojala with 13 points and 6 assists, #24 Henri Järvi with 5 steals, #7 Elias Niemi with 7 rebounds and #4 Emil Salo with 6 rebounds.

For LoKoKo : #18 Miika Sillanpää with 12 points, and top scorer #30 Pepe Rämö with 18 points – 8 rebounds and 6 assists. #9 Cooper Grönholm and #11 Johannes Kulmala both added 9 points to the score.
