BSBC 2026 – Day 02

OK – not much time between last games of Sunday and first games on Monday, so a brief recap and set of images.

WU16 : Finland WU16 took a HUGE 110-50 win over Estonia WU16, pretty even scoring and do big double-doubles for anyone in the game, three players did reach 16 points.

Latvia WU16 took their opening win as they edged Sweden WU16 with 82-36 scoreline. Maria Petersone the top scorer for the winners.

Two close games in MU16 – as Latvia MU16 had a strong end run to win 87-81 over Sweden MU16, and Estonia MU16 edged Finland MU16 with 72-63 score. Exciting last day for MU16 with all teams having won one game.

WU18 – Latvia WU18 took their opening win with a five point win over Sweden WU18, 78-73, Mila Luzgina once again strong on the scoring for Latvia.

Finland WU18 took a massive 108 point win over Estonia, score 133-25, Anna Gardziella scoring 23 points, Aluel Machol with a big double-double 17 points and 16 rebounds.

MU18, Latvia MU18 continue their strong run and took a 100-68 win over Sweden MU18, and Finland and Estonia MU18 had a closer game, with Estonia winning 84-74 in the end. Finland and Sweden will play for third place, and Estonia and Latvia decide the Champions in the late game on Monday.
