On the road – Day 8
Day 8 of ??
A day I spent … for the first time in few weeks, WITHOUT the Susijengi!! It was probably a relief for the players not to see me sticking a camera to every situation.. I still kept looking at players faces or listening to them on video .. all day (from 5am until about 9pm was editing/posting time).
Monday was also the day Susijengi revealed their 12 man roster for the EuroBasket2022, guess with most teams these are just great and well done graphics to announce the team on social media, with a link to an article about the team.
Now – my views on some ordinary post are.. well, my views 😉 But these days you can do so much more, with relatively little effort (and team work!!) So – I decided to, just for fun, create a different team reveal video. If it worked, GREAT… if it didn’t, well – at least I had fun doing it. Which counts for a LOT while working with something you have a passion for.
With all things retro being cool again, and being of an age when my computer games really were 8-bit games (I still play with my retro VIC-20/C64 console!) – so an idea of an 8-bit retro ‘story’ developed in my mind.. and with some help from artists, this was the end result 🙂
Other than that – it was my usual day of sitting in front of a computer screen and editing photos and videos (some Alphabet video also coming up soon!) Oh – and packing for little over two weeks in Prague/Berling.. and ready for a 4am departure from the airport hotel… and YES!! YES!! I do get to change a hotel again on Monday! 🙂
On Monday I should also be able to get my first photos with the Bessamatic… so looking forward to inserting some film into that and getting to ‘document’ the EuroBasket2022 with some old school techniques.
Not suffering from ‘hotel death’ yet, but then again that has not been very likely with the constant changing of hotels. Little bit apprehensive about the hotel in Prague – as that (with any other hotels in the past weeks) is not been chosen by me.. one of the good things/drawbacks about traveling with the team – is that many of the things are decided for you.
Time to get on the road again – with some very heavy suitcases to drag with me…
