Week in Social Media – Korisliiga

What has happened in the last seven days with the #NaistenKorisliiga and #Korisliiga …

On Instagram, the City of Salo had a photo of Aatu Kivimaki heading to training – with a #WeLoveSalo bicycle.

The injury crisis at the newly promoted Ura Basket is not easing – and all this in the middle of their 4 games in 7 days schedule rush. One has to feel sorry for the team.

@Janikuvaa posted this nice photo ahead of the derby in Tampere.

Teemu Rannikko got enough assists in the game vs KArhuBasket – and is now the all time leader in assists in Korisliiga. Congrats Magician!!

YLE Sport reporter Antti-Jussi Sipila wrote an article in which he writes that the clubs in Korisliiga are wanting some big changes to the way the league is being run. And unsurprisingly this has raised plenty of comments – both ways.

Toni Flink wasn’t too impressed with the results of the press conference in the Lapua-Korihait game 🙂

And Petri Siitonen is ‘worrying’ about Kataja Basket’s success in FIBA Europe Cup – new five games potentially to be re-scheduled in Korisliiga for the team. But great success for the team from Joensuu!

Local paper in Salo writes an article about Vilpas ‘winning the wrong way’ – in reference to the team not being entertaining enough. And winning with effective, but not spectacular fashion.
