Nordic Championships continue!

This year the MU20 Nordic Championships only has THREE teams competing, so a quick tournament in Södertälje for those teams.

With Sweden, Finland and Estonia the only teams to participate this year.

Game Schedule – Link : https://hosted.dcd.shared.geniussports.com/SBF/en/competition/40872/schedule

Games in short are :

  • 26.06 – @20.30 Estonia vs Sweden
  • 27.06 – @15.45 Estonia vs Finland
  • 28.06 – @13.30 Sweden vs Finland

Rosters have not been added to the Nordic Championships website yet – but expect them when games tip-off tomorrow.

All six nations : Sweden, Iceland, Finland, Norway, Estonia and Denmark have sent teams to the MU18 Nordics in Södertälje.

Games tip-off on Thursday 26th of June

There will be three games most days – with the exception of June 29th having two games, and June 30th having one game (Finland vs Iceland).

Tournament will end on the 1st of July.

Once again all six nations are sending teams there – so it will be a busy week in Kisakallio – with six games per day on (two or three courts??).

On Basket.se the information is that the tournament will be between 30th of June and 7th of July – whether these are games days, or the Swedish teams travel days??

I will be at this event with my cameras – not sure how many cameras yet – but at least one 🙂 I will be covering ALL the games through out the week – so expect lot of colourful photos and maybe some videos as well from the week.

I already knew there was no Finland WU20 this summer – but by the looks of it, there will be no Women Under 20 Nordic Championships this summer.

Hopefully this event will be back on the calendar again next year!

After the U16 Nordic Championships end in Kisakallio – we can say goodbye to the Nordics again for another year, there really are a great start to the summer and good preparations for the teams heading into their respective EuroBasket tournaments later in the summer!
